For Grandma xx

Our two little cherubs getting ready for take off!!

Captain Willow! A very excited little girl invited into the cockpit after making loom bands for the cabin crew and sending a note to the pilot. Dear Pilot, I hope you have fun flying your plane :)

special gifts from home watch over me x

Here we go, first medications!

My first few days seen strength and some wonderful therapy sessions :)

My Door :) walking the hallway it's amazing to see so many names from all over the world.

enjoying my speech and physio session, my therapist speaks little english although we communicate perfectly, some people are made for what they do :)

wonderful first therapy session Miss Piper :) tomorrow we begin stem cell treatment.

So sending Michael and Willow on the weekly run to the shops didn't go quite according to plan, our first Chinese delivery :)

Willow just a little excited by her first attempt at using chopsticks! :)

Waiting for my first stem cell injection...

Off to theatre I go

Willow not quite ready to say goodbye

our wing :)

Willow using the rehabilitation room for gymnastics while waiting for her little sister

This is one of my most favourite photographs! Piper supported into this position was asked to hold, to our surprise she did just that :))

being able to stay in Hospital with Piper is a new experience for Willow, the nurses all smile when they find two in the patient bed

A downward spiral for our little girl.

The tear that falls before a seizure, a sign of past days, the moment that takes her breath, and a piece of my heart.

Just when spirits are running low a care package arrives from home! complete with vegemite, coffee, tim tams and two minute noodles SAVED!

My lovely nurses now prepare me for my second stem cell injection

Off we go again, down to theatre.

Finding it difficult to get Willow to eat! The care package from home complete with dvds and easy mac was I quote 'Willow's best day in China' :)

Whether it be the stem cells, the tears, the change in medications or the continuing seizures our baby is exhausted x

smiling again today :) yay! x

Piper's number one supporter watches and waits for Physio to be finished, for today we can take Piper for a walk around the hospital grounds :) she just need to finish this therapy first ;)

Straight back into therapy x

There is a crocodile in the foyer of the Hospital! Willow and Daddy visit each day, It's not very friendly!

Willow helps another of our lovely nurses :)

It's been a big day! back to bed xx

We’ve had quite a rough start to our treatment Piper’s change in medications the injections themselves and a slight fever left Piper extremely distressed, after days of continuous crying we have sunshine again, Piper now managing smiles and regaining strength.

The past days Piper has had little movement, too weak for therapy, her eyes remaining dull as seizures continued to gain strength, Thursday morning Piper had twenty seizures within the hour and we were starting to panic!

It’s so incredibly hard to be so far from home amidst our feelings of fear.

In two weeks we’ve experienced far too many emotions and have had to regather our thoughts, our prospective, our goals and our hopes.

Our little complex case continues to challenge.

Chinese doctors now rearranging medications to stabilise the seizures and control the infection without causing damage to the newly implanted cells and their environment.

The language barrier along the with the cultural differences has been difficult, there have been many in betweens in our tale of two weeks, although we’ll start again.. as now is the beginning of our chance with China, and our hope for gains. x

And So dear friends we continue with our pictures in progress xx

and our tale of  better days J
