Hope Love Cure

A few remarkable things happened in the past two weeks Piper managed to swallow food without choking aspirating or retching, her swallow and chewing have improved considerably, at the risk of providing too much information Piper is still unable to pass a stool without assistance although we hope with time and food encouragement this will improve also. We still have quite an emotional little girl on our hands as the medications continue to change, Pipers body must adapt to this along with the stem cell growth, the days of smiles are wonderful, and as for the crys! We remind ourselves of the good that may come. We can tickle toes and most often Piper's foot will pull away! we watch the curiosity of our little gymnast as her foot extends to her mouth, we've seen some wonderful extension and movement in the past, although through the hundreds of examinations we've never come to witness the wonderful sight of reflexes, and although for now what we see is inconsistent and still in places remains nonexistent, it's the presence of those connections the evidence of signal breaking through, and with that brings an extraordinary amount of hope. We may have tried to keep the next little milestone close to our chest, In fear those cards have been dealt before, although our excitement prevents us from doing so... For three consecutive days Pipers had only one seizure each day and yesterday? well that day marked zero! So we cross our finger tight that there is a new pattern to emerge and far better days to come xxxx With Love and Light Michael Summer Willow & Our Purple Princess Piper xxxx Please head over to the main menu 'Ni Hao From China' to view our picture in progress of our journey thus far. xxxx

Take whatever positives you like & celebrate the progress! Well deserved & hopefully the new pattern is only the beginning of more positives.
